Don Martel a professional photographer, was born in Windsor Ontario, Canada's most southern city. Numerous workshops prepared him for the inevitable switch from a career in software design to his passion and current mainstay, photography. Freelancing for the last 20 years has brought him a wide variety of experiences and a wealth of assignments, both commercial and educational. In 1999 Don was a field instructor for Freeman Patterson, teaching spring workshops held in New Brunswick.
